The 21st National Youth Congress
What is the
NATIONAL YOUTH
CONGRESS?

The National Youth Congress, or NYC, is a three-day economics forum composed of different symposia and competitions for the top high school students from all over the country. It is a platform to revitalize the involvement of the youth in development, sparking their interest in economics as future leaders of the nation.
The Organizing Body is a partnership between the UP Economics Society and the UP School of Economics Student Council.
NYC strives to acquaint students with basic economics concepts and show them the relevance of economics in today’s society. The event is known as one of the country’s biggest congresses for high school students, catering to more than 300 students from around 50 public and private high schools all over the Philippines.
